Summary
:Directed by Paul W. S. Anderson, “Death Race” is racing movie. However,Death Race is not only a race to the finish line, but a battle pitting car against car.
In 2020, there are a lot of crimminer in the prison which called by terminal island. The racing is not normal of that, because every cars have weapons to win of racing.
The hero Jensen Ames (Jason Statham) is framed for his wife's murder on the same day that the steel mill he works at closes; the murderer is actually a masked intruder that points a finger-gun at Ames as he leaves.
Just before the Stage 1 Race, Ames is introduced to his navigator, Case (Natalie Martinez), who happens to be Frankenstein's previous navigator. During the race. Three racers are killed in stage 1.
Reaction
: think that this movie showed me 2things(motor race + action game) at one time.
Because this movies is much more interesting than previously thought. I felt as if I was driving in the movie. Its fast-moving and not boring talking really made me exciting. Although its fast-moving could make the movie looss, this movie was different.
Main actor's car is mustang. Mustang is not super car, and other cars in this movie is not have named-brand. But the importance is not the car's brand, but the smart action which main actor was playing.
And other parts of this movie made this movie exciting movie. That is jason statem's specific look, his voice, the reversal of this movie, the new concept which means racing in a prison. fast-moving camera point.
This movie was re-make movie. The original film(the story's time is 2000) was released in 1975 . So I suppose that this re-make movie's time is 2020. I think that the last scene seems comic part.
If you already know this movie's story, you could not enjoy this movie. So I don't want to tell the story from now. I recommend any person who love speed and action, watch this movie.
You guys will not reget.

Summary:
This story is talking about the special friendship that develops between E.T. and Elliott, a lonely young boy living in a suburban California community, and a wise, benevolent visitor from another planet who becomes lost on Earth. As Elliott attempts to help his extra-terrestrial companion contacts his home planet so that he might be rescued. Because the government and scientists find about E.T. and want to catch E.T. for their own propose. For this reason, Elliott try to find E.T. run away from those people and take E.T. go back his own planet.
Reaction:
I like this E.T. in the film. When I was a child, I was afraid of E.T. It is because they are so ugly and unfriendly with human. After I saw this move, I have a different image about E.T. I hope I can have a friend who is from other planet. I can teach them about earth, they can teach me about their own planet

One called George and the second called Lennie. Linnie is a huge guy but he has mental disease ,so he act as children. They have a job in the ranche but the boss's sun "Curly" has a different trouble with Lennie because of his appearance and physical power. George always trying to fix all problems between curly and Lennie.
curly's wife talked with Lennie when all worker play because Lennie stayed alone and played with rabbits and puppies and she wanted to know what had happened in the ranche. One day, when all the workers played with horse's shoes ,lennie and curly's wife talked together. She asked him to touch her hair and he like that but she yielded ,so ,he tried to keep her quite but she died.
Lennie escaped from the ranche and all workers looked for him. George found him and shot him !!

I read Of mice and Men novel before . when I watched the movie

This story talks a woman, she is a success woman, and she has a lot of money. She wants to get married and has a baby, but nobody wants to be her husband and she is sterility. She finds a girl to help her have baby and give the girl money. Actually, the girl and her boy-friend just want to take her money, and she didn’t have baby. After several months, the girl has a baby, but the baby is her and her boy-friend’s baby. When they broken, the boy tells everyone the girl is a liar. The woman stops this business. When the girl produces, the woman swoons in the hospital. Then the doctor tells her that she can have baby.
REACTION:
In this movie, maybe we can use money to buy anything, but I think sometimes that is not true. Some people just want to take your money. In this case, a woman didn’t have baby that is a big problem. Having a baby is many women’s dream, so I can understand her feeling, but she uses a wrong way. Maybe she can adopt a child. Actually, if this is my case, I also want to have baby from myself.

It was intersting movie because they use the electronic way to control the country and they did a trick with the police which is they send a masseg they were going to the bombing of the White House .

Reaction:
This movie show high school life and how they make their important decision in their life. It's so different from my culture that we quite can make our own decision. It's just not this free. It's because american raise to be independence more than asian.

It was about a girl who has a disable brother and a ugly boy who felt in live with her since they both were so young. After they finished a high school,they stopped contact ever since. Thirteen years passed by, a boy, Jack who beame a looking good guy, counldn't stop think about Marry. So he hired a detective to find her. Unfortunately the detective also felt in love with Marry and lied to Jack that Marry was a big fat mammy of 5 kids. The detective sneaked around her and pretended to be a her dream guy. Back to Jack decided to see her and found out that the detective lied to him about Marry. Finally Marry found out the whole drama. Marry forgave Jack. happy endding.

I like this activity, because people can know the culture and food from my country. Also, I can meet many Taiwanese who I never met before, actually, I don't know there are so many Taiwanese here.

Summary:
John Nash studied math in Princeton University, and he was a very smart studend. Also, he was a trouble maker. He was not friendly to other students, and he didn't like to go to classes. He wanted to created a theory that people never knew. He thought that is the only way to be a successful person. He made a great theory, and he could reserch and teach at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In addition, he had a marriage with a student, but he started to live in some situation that immaged by himself. He struggled between the real world and his delusion many years. His wife's love let him started to accept his psychosis, and he could teach in Princeton university again. He won the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics in 1994. This proved he had a very smart brain, and a beautiful mind.
Reaction:
This is a real story, and it describe how hard to recognize the real world for a psychosis patient. John Nash made it, not completely, but he did his best. He is a great person, because he didn't give up. How many give up themselves without try? Many people do that.

The movie shows us what lengths mega corporations will try and go to keep their new product information out of the hands of their competitors. Two spies are working for opposite sides and are involved in a secret relationship. Multi continent travels, many plot twists and counter twists follow.
Finally, the final that nobody expects, all the situation was a kind of bluff for one multinational corporation. The spies are spying and lose their employment, the money and the business that planning.
• Reaction /opinion
This movie had a good screenplay, force you to be focus on the movie to understand times and twists. Usually Julia Roberts put more force in their characters. In this movie I cant find a very passionate rol.

International Programs Administration, organized a fair and ask to the international students at UNCG to participated on it. Carlos, Santiago and I, decided go in with our own tent from Colombia. In the entrance of the fair staff people give to the visitor one passport. People have to go across the tents, visiting the countries, asking for some information and then, the people in the tent give a rubber stamp of the country to paste in the passport.
• Reaction /opinion
I really enjoyed my time there. There were a lot of visitors, everybody want try our Colombian coffee and was and excellent opportunity to speak with a lot of people, practicing English and learn about many cultures.
